Jono Mitchell

Born and raised across much of the Southeast, Jono Mitchell is a multi-hyphenate based in Atlanta, GA. His recent projects include the short film Jenna Gets an Abortion (2020) and the award-winning feature film Pageant Material (2019). He's also known for his work on the Adult Swim digital programs Dear Jono and Stupid Morning BS. Working alongside incredible Atlanta talent, Jono strives to produce an empathetic style of filmmaking that challenges audiences to explore the complexities of characters and stories often relegated to two-dimensionality in mainstream media. He creates content under the strict belief that all films should include a musical number and if you really want to get him going, ask him whether birds are real.
